Stalker has spotted some extravagant floresences of fungi in different parts of the country.
Specimens are all looking bigger and more numerous.
One mushroom identified by Gemini Ai as a horse saddle mushroom measured 18 inches across.
Also the Chanterelle season is upon us early and there appear to be copious amounts in select spots of which one will not name.
The chanterelle is certainly one to pick and cook with. However the old rule applies - if you’re not 100 percent certain of the mushroom, do not consume!
