Reading an item on the death of languages, Stalker was interested to see mushrooms mentioned.
In a region of Italy, in the mountains of Piacenza, a little known dialect has strange sounds in the names of the local i funz, the valley’s famous mushrooms.
The names sound more Scandinavian than Italian apparently due to a fronted vowel sound Փ Stalker never knew mushrooms were such funz!.
