Anthropic, the AI company that has been recently blackballed by the Pentagon, provided a radar chart of future and actual disruption by AI in the jobs market. Interesting to see that agriculture was low down in the sectors affected by AI. The company analysis showed a potential white collar wipeout in the future - with AI penetration hitting business, finance office admin and legal.
The discrepancies between actual AI disruption and predicted AI disruption was also very marked.
Stalker notes that Anthropic have just announced they are to create 200 jobs in Ireland over the next few years - seems like there’ll be jobs in AI, maybe even some for those whose jobs have been displaced by AI.
