There were talks on promoting the produce to try and emulate the magnificent results in British Columbia where mushroom consumption was at a remarkable 121lbs per head per annum. Hard to believe that stat - perhaps it was a typo and meant to read 12lbs - which is still a considerable amount of mushrooms!
There was an exhaustive seminar on trichoderma at the Kinsealy Research Institute. Reen Rover was casting a cold eye over the state of things out there at the sharp end.
