CURRENCY STEADY

On currency markets the euro is worth €1.14 for one pound sterling as we go to press. Conversely that is one euro equal to 87p.

The fortunes of the two currencies remain steady, with slightly better economic data propping the euro up a bit more this month.

Low growth in the UK seems to be the factor applying drag to the value of the currency of late.
