Stalker was reading that the farm machinery industry was worth almost €5 billion annually to the Irish economy.
It sustains 25,000 jobs too according to a report.
The Farm Tractor and Machinery Trade association (FTMTA) in partnership with ifac have produced their first ever economic report on the value of the sector to the country.
Stalker noted recently too that the cost of tractors had more than doubled in the last few years - food for thought there.
