First it was Tesco producing a recipe for Mushroom Wellington for the festive season. Then Waitrose dove in with adverts touting their Mushroom Wellington delight.
Stalker was amused by the letter into one of the national papers re the recipe querying the dish - as it was basically the dish that was served in the Aussie mushroom murder trial.
If you’re making the dish it does contain a goodly amount of fresh mushrooms - great for the industry no doubt about it.
If serving it up over the festive period, just watch your relatives' faces though for signs of querulousness.
