TUG OF WAR

Stalker was interested to see some news from the tug of war front recently in the local newspaper.

Aughnacloy based Leo’s Boys Team were in action in October over in the USA.

The team settled for a silver medal at this year's competition stateside.

The DJ’s club from Minnesota came over this way in mid-November  to pull against some strong Irish Teams.

Great to see old hand Patrick Kernan, formerly of Kernans Mushroom Group still in the mix as a club mentor along with Leo Collins.

Stalker fondly remembers days pulling on the rope out Benburb direction many moons ago. Tough sport, tough lads.
