BAD HARVEST

England has suffered its second worst harvest on record due to weather extremes.

Official figures  show this year’s harvest was even worse than predicted, with yields for wheat, barley, oats and oilseed rape all down.

After the hottest summer ever recorded in the country the signs do point to climate change severely adversely affecting harvest outcomes.

Is this the shape of things to come?
