Stalker noted that the pound slid against the euro to €1.14 last month, but rallied to €1.15 this month -not much of a rally.
Meanwhile gold seems to be heading ever upward. (There was a downward correction just this week though!)
There was an interesting quote in the press this month from a currency maven who posited that all currencies at the moment are like toilet paper compared to gold.
However the US dollar was at least deemed to be two-ply loo roll.
Of course loo roll is actually used as a currency in some choice places!
