The Irish Times has published its annual list of the Top 1000 companies in Ireland again this year.

In at position 624 on the list is Walsh Mushrooms, with an annual turnover of €90 million, and with a total number of 400 employees.

Coming in 300 places higher on the vaunted Top 1000 list is Monaghan Mushrooms, in at position 324.

Monaghan has a turnover of €325 million according to the data, with a workforce numbered at 3000 employees.

That’s the mushroom sector involvement in the top one thousand as far as Stalker can make out.
