Grower Phillip Condell was one of those hit hard by Storm Éowyn on the Friday January 24th of January as the red alert hit.
His home electricity was out for over a week and the strength of the winds managed to nearly take the side out of one of the mushroom units on the farm.
With on-farm damages estimated at between five and ten thousand euros, the wrath of the storm was fully appreciated on the Condell farm in Co. Cavan.
