New Owner: I wish to confirm that Scully Mushroom Supplies have taken over the business of: AST Totten Ltd. One year ago I decided it was time to retire from the Mushroom Industry and that 2020 should be my last year. This was an easy decision but the decision of what to do with the business was more difficult. I felt that my customers deserved to have a choice of supplier and no existing company should have a monopoly. To clear stock and close the business was not an option. None of my family was really interested and anyway I didn’t dislike any of them sufficiently to let them get involved. I made a few inquiries and several people expressed an interest but only one was prepared to put their money where their mouth was. I wish Neil Scully much success as he expands his business. I have a couple of projects which should be finished by end of February. I will be involved with Neil on an advisory capacity for a few months. I have some plans for later in the year but be sure they are well away from the mushroom industry.
