While the rest of the United Kingdom waded under an April that was wetter and duller than normal, Northern Ireland bucked the trend.
Just for a change, April in NI was drier and brighter than normal with more sunshine and less rain.
"We had 67mm of rain, that is 95% of our normal rainfall amount," said BBC weather presenter Barra Best.
"We had 160.8 hours of sunshine, which is 113% of the amount of sunshine we normally see in April." While all counties were cooler than average, some were drier than others.
Fermanagh, Tyrone and Antrim were all drier than usual.
Fermanagh had just 70% (51mm) of its normal amount of rainfall.
Down, Derry and Armagh were wetter than normal with Down registering the highest amount of rainfall, 72.3mm (108% of its average).
Derry had 106% (75.3mm) and Armagh had 101% (62.4) of their normal rainfall respectively.
