MILTON A 28-year-old Waterloo man was killed at a mushroom farm Tuesday afternoon after he was run over by a large front-end loader.
Halton police say the accident occurred just before 3 p.m. at Monaghan Mushrooms Ltd. on Guelph Line, in between Derry Road West and Conservation Road, just north of Lowville.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene from what police described as “obvious fatal injuries.” His name was not being released pending notification of next of kin. www.thespec.com
