The ChampCorr measures the weight and corrects the mushroom packages within the given range fully automatically. Due to a special method of grabbing, the mushrooms will not be damaged.

Operational principle ChampCorr
After the mushroom packages are put into import (on the in feed conveyor), they are being guided in the direction of a weighing belt to see if the weight of the packaging is just right or being over- or underweight. A divider distributes the containers into two lanes, namely:
1. Belt for packages with over- and/or underweight
2. Belt for packages with the correct weight

All packages on the belt explained above in number 2, continue their way out of the machine.
The packages which were distributed on the first belt by the divider have to be corrected. These packages will analyzed through a scanner. This produces the following information:
1. Where can a mushroom be placed
2. Which mushroom is most logical to be removed from the package

After the correction, these packages are being placed on the import belt(on the in feed conveyor) again in order to be checked by a weighing belt. If there is a package of which the weight is still incorrect, it will be transported to the correction belt by the divider in order to go through yet another correction.
The ChampCorr with the standard 2 heads implementation is quickly able to get a speed of about 40 corrections per minute.
