In April 2010 the list of Approved Disinfectants for use in mushroom production, there are two products approved.
Disolite
Sporekill
The procedure for the safe use of disinfectant Disolite 1. Clean the surface.
2. Apply disinfectant at the recommended rate with the recommended PP equipment and precaution.
3. Was disinfectant off shelves, nets and equipment before use.
Sporekill product is a different concept to phenolic disinfectants like Disolite, and does not, and should not be washed down after application or it will affect its efficacy.
